Meet Dave

Hi, I'm Dave, the heart and soul behind Guitar Training Online. With nearly 40 years of guitar playing under my belt, I've rocked stages with various bands—some you might even know! My journey has taken me from performing to teaching, and now to creating tools that help guitarists like you shine.

The Journey

As a guitar teacher, I noticed a pattern: many students came to me frustrated with big-name guitar tuition websites. They were tired of constant upsells and promises of "breakthrough" lessons for an extra fee. So, I started offering in-person lessons, blending my 25 years of on-and-off experience as a developer to craft tools that truly helped my students grow.

Those tools worked—really well. I found that guiding students to discover answers themselves, sometimes with the help of videos, cemented concepts and techniques in their minds faster and forever. Encouraged by their success, I built more tools and online lessons, always focusing on real learning over flashy promises.

The Mission

My students called me crazy for offering so much value at such a low cost, urging me to share these resources with the world. That’s how Guitar Training Online was born. My promise is simple: no upselling, no badgering for "just one more course." Everything is available for a single, flat fee, making high-quality guitar education accessible to as many people as possible.

I’m here to counter the wave of soulless music flooding the airwaves, one guitarist at a time. The guitar will never die, and I’m proud to help you keep its spirit alive with tools and lessons designed to make you a better player.
